Comcast Opens New Xfinity Store in Derby

Comcast announced the opening of a new Xfinity Store in Derby, Connecticut, located at 49 Pershing Drive. The 1,580-square-foot storefront features an interactive design and provides a destination for visitors to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services – from Xfinity Home security solutions, to Xfinity Mobile and Supersonic WiFi, which is capable of delivering speeds up to 1.2 Gigabits per second (Gbps).

With this new location, there are now nine Xfinity Stores located throughout Connecticut, including the North Haven Xfinity Store that also serves New Haven County. Store visitors can engage with a local, dedicated team of highly trained and knowledgeable sales consultants to learn more about their current services or devices, see firsthand how Xfinity apps make it easy for them to manage their account, sign up for all Xfinity services, address any service needs and return or acquire equipment.

  • Xfinity Mobile, a key focus of Xfinity Stores: Customers can purchase new mobile phones, devices and mobile accessories and choose a flexible data plan based on their individual needs.
  • Xfinity X1, our video platform – the ultimate entertainment experience: Customers can try the voice remote and see how X1 works firsthand.
  • Xfinity Home – The Connected Home Zone section showcases how Xfinity Home combines the best of home security and automation into one simple experience: Customers can learn how they can control an increasing number of IoT devices from their phone, tablet or Xfinity Home touchscreen.
  • Xfinity Internet – The Xfinity Internet Zone: Customers can discover xFi, the Xfinity personalized home WiFi experience, and learn how to view and control network devices through the app, website or voice remote.

Eligible customers can also visit Xfinity Stores to learn about and receive assistance enrolling in the federal government’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which provides eligible low-income households with a credit of up to $30 per month ($75 per month on Tribal lands) toward their Internet and/or mobile service. With ACP, eligible Comcast customers can get home Internet through Comcast’s Internet Essentials or Internet Essentials Plus at no cost once the federal credit is applied. Internet Essentials customers can also add a line of unlimited 5G cellular data ($45) through Xfinity Mobile for as little as $24.95/month after the ACP benefit is applied.
