Comcast Opens New Xfinity Store in Derby

Comcast announced the opening of a new Xfinity Store in Derby, Connecticut, located at 49 Pershing Drive. The 1,580-square-foot storefront features an interactive design and provides a destination for visitors to experience the complete line of Xfinity products and services – from Xfinity Home security solutions, to Xfinity Mobile and Supersonic WiFi, which is capable of delivering speeds up to 1.2 Gigabits per second (Gbps).

With this new location, there are now nine Xfinity Stores located throughout Connecticut, including the North Haven Xfinity Store that also serves New Haven County. Store visitors can engage with a local, dedicated team of highly trained and knowledgeable sales consultants to learn more about their current services or devices, see firsthand how Xfinity apps make it easy for them to manage their account, sign up for all Xfinity services, address any service needs and return or acquire equipment.

“The City of Derby is pleased to welcome a new, full-service Xfinity Store to our community so residents can enjoy Comcast’s entertainment and customer service experience locally, and access and discover new programming that might be of interest to our growing community,” said Richard Dziekan, Mayor of Derby.

“The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome Comcast and their fabulous new Xfinity Retail Store to Derby! The store is a great addition to the growing retail mix at the highly successful ShopRite Shopping Center on Pershing Drive,” said Bill Purcell, Greater Valley Chamber President. “Businesses and residents alike will benefit from the highly interactive environment in which to experience the wide range of Internet, Phone, TV, and more offerings at a central location.”

“Our newest Xfinity Store in Derby is an important part of our ongoing effort to provide an excellent customer experience,” said Carolyne Hannan, Senior Vice President for Comcast’s Western New England Region, which is headquartered in Connecticut. “It’s a welcoming space for consumers to learn more about our products in an expansive, thoughtfully-designed store – something our customers expect from a technology leader like Comcast.”
