Comcast announced that it will bring its Xfinity On Campus service to Landmark College, allowing students to watch live TV, On Demand and recorded content on their IP-enabled devices, including laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The service is included with room and board for students living in on-campus housing.

Xfinity On Campus offers more than 100 live channels including every major broadcast network, as well as channels like AMC, Bravo, ESPN, FX and MTV through Comcast’s Xfinity Stream app and online portal. Additionally, it includes access to thousands of current season TV shows and hit movies via Xfinity On Demand.

“We’re excited to bring Xfinity On Campus to Landmark College,” said Michael Luciani, vice president for student affairs at Landmark College. “Students now have a whole new set of expectations about services offered during their on-campus experience and Comcast lets us provide their favorite entertainment offerings wherever it is convenient to them.”

Xfinity On Campus provides access to Xfinity X1, Comcast’s next-generation video product currently enjoyed by customers across the nation. Xfinity X1 delivers an immersive and personalized entertainment experience across devices in an interface that is sleek, intuitive and makes search and discovery of content easier than ever – powered by the award-winning Xfinity Voice Remote.

“We are thrilled to partner with Landmark College to provide its students the ability to enjoy their favorite entertainment across their devices of choice,” said Brian Ferney, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Comcast’s Western New England Region. “Landmark College offers a unique student-focused learning experience and Comcast is honored to be selected as the school’s entertainment provider.”

Xfinity On Campus is easy and cost-effective for a college or university IT department to maintain.
