If you recently graduated, are looking for a change of pace at work or trying to find a company that motivates you every day, you may find the opportunity of your lifetime at Comcast. The company has been hiring rapidly throughout New England as part of a multi-year effort to transform the customer experience and create a culture focused on exceeding customers’ expectations.
As part of that, Comcast has been thinking outside of the box when it comes to its hiring process. This month, the company held a hiring mixer at the company’s XFINITY Store in West Hartford, where close to 90 job applicants had the chance to meet peers, managers and senior leaders, as well as apply, network and in some cases, interview on the spot. Candidates were looking at jobs ranging from Customer Care, Tech Operations, Retail, Sales and more.
The event was the first-of-its-kind for Comcast in the region, and, given the remarkable level of interest, the company has decided to hold mixers more often at different venues across New England.
