New Suite of Services at Connecticut’s Saybrook Point Inn

Elegant accommodations, fine dining and premier spa services reign supreme at Saybrook Point Inn, which is also known for its designation as the first “Green Hotel” in the Nutmeg state.

To elevate its reputation for delivering best-in-class services, while increasing its eco-friendly commitment, the centuries-old waterside destination recently unveiled a new, streamlined package of high-speed internet, phone and video through a partnership with Comcast Business.

Saybrook Point Inn implemented the technology company’s hospitality solution, offering guests full voice and video features. To help the Inn reduce more waste, Comcast Business additionally developed a customized default video channel for the property, which eliminated the need to continuously print event and informational materials.

For General Manger John Lombardo, Comcast Business Internet is not only an attractive feature for guests but a valuable tool for implementing new service systems, like using iPads and OpenTable to decrease wait times in the dining room.

In Lombardo’s words, “[Saybrook Point Inn] can be more of a high-touch resort because our staff can spend more time interacting and servicing our guests.”
