2025 In Review: Connecting Communities and Driving Innovation Across New England
As 2025 comes to a close, Comcast stands at a transformative moment – where the initiatives and innovations of the past year are beginning to deliver meaningful impact.
This year, we launched, Imagine That, a bold, new platform that reimagines the story of Frankenstein, placing the iconic monster “Frank” in a world powered by Xfinity, Comcast’s residential services brand. In Frank’s world, WiFi self-heals, mobile service follows him seamlessly, home security anticipates his needs, and entertainment is always at his fingertips. It’s a vivid illustration of how technology can enhance everyday life – connecting people effortlessly and making life simpler, safer and more extraordinary.
Imagine That is more than a campaign – it’s a reflection of our purpose. Xfinity is building a world where technology works so seamlessly, it becomes invisible, empowering people to focus on what matters most.
In 2025, we brought this vision to lifethrough product innovations such as:
- Xfinity Internet: We continue virtualizing our network with next-generation broadband technology, making it even more reliable, nimbler and resilient. For the first time, we introduced nationwide offers featuring four speed tiers, each including Xfinity’s best-in-class WiFi gateway and the option of a five-year price guarantee, without an annual contract.
- Xfinity Mobile: Delivering an unmatched wireless experience, Xfinity Mobile offers savings, speed, reliability, and the best deals on top devices. This year, we introduced a line of Xfinity Mobile “on us” for Internet customers – an offer still available. With WiFi PowerBoost, Xfinity Mobile customers enjoy speeds up to one gig at home and on the go.
- Xfinity’s Entertainment Experience: In a fragmented streaming landscape, Xfinity offers a seamless, personalized viewing experience. New packages like Sports & News and World Soccer Ticket, along with features like StreamStore and Multiview, bring everything customers love into one place.
To bring our best-in-class products and services closer to our customers, we proudly opened two new Xfinity Stores this year in Milford, CT and Westfield, MA, and we renovated our Xfinity Stores in Brockton, MA; Brunswick, ME; Groton, CT and Hyde Park, MA – creating more welcoming, modern spaces for customers to explore our offerings and get support.
Throughout New England, we’ve also been expanding our network, engaging new businesses, and building local partnerships with the communities we serve – ensuring that the benefits of innovation reach everyone.

These investments are helping small businesses thrive and stay competitive in a digital-first economy.
Building a Future of Unlimited Possibilities in New England
Across New England, local organizations are working tirelessly to expand digital access and build essential skills. Through Project UP, Comcast’s $1 billion commitment to advance digital opportunity, we’re proud to support their efforts to unlock opportunity and create lasting impact in the communities we serve.
This year, we partnered with several inspiring groups making a meaningful difference, including:
- Hartford Public Library’s HPL Studios in Connecticut, a public recording and film facility dedicated to teaching technical and creative skills. With a $10,000 Comcast grant, HPL Studios is offering free workshops to local residents, empowering them with hands-on experience in media production.
- Westhampton Council of Aging in Massachusetts, which is now providing high-speed internet and laptops to seniors at Westhampton Woods Senior Housing through a new Lift Zone initiative. This marks the 77th Lift Zone location in Massachusetts, helping individuals stay connected.
- Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester in New Hampshire, which received a $30,000 Comcast grant to deliver digital literacy skills and digital arts training to its members, enriching after-school programming and preparing youth for the future.
- Technology for Tomorrow in Vermont, which is bridging the digital divide for older adults and new Americans. With a $65,000 Comcast grant, the organization is offering computer training and workforce development programs that open doors to new opportunities.
As Comcast continues to expand its network in Bridgeport, Milford, Norwalk and Stratford, Connecticut, we’re also deepening our commitments to these communities, cultivating new partnerships and helping residents connect to the digital world.
Together, these efforts are building futures of unlimited possibilities – one where everyone has the tools to learn, grow, and thrive.
