Comcast Expanding State-of-the-Art Network to More Than 4,300 Homes and Businesses in Franklin, NH

Comcast started construction to connect more than 4,300 new homes and businesses in Franklin to reliable, high-speed, symmetrical Internet by expanding its network. This expansion will enhance digital infrastructure, promote economic growth, and position residents and local businesses for success in an increasingly digital world. The network expansion brings Internet, mobile, entertainment, and security services from Xfinity and Comcast Business to residents and businesses for the first time.
The company also connected more than half of the 2,100 homes and businesses in its Northfield, NH, project to Xfinity and Comcast Business services, with the rest coming online by this summer. The Franklin project is expected to be completed in 2026.
Northfield and Franklin residents can visit the Gilford Xfinity Store located at 1458 Lake Shore Road, Gilford, NH 03249 or Xfinity.com/mytown and enter their addresses for additional details on construction timing and upcoming service availability.

Comcast’s most recent expansion to Franklin and Northfield is part of the company’s latest investment in New Hampshire, which also includes expansions to Belmont, Gilford, Laconia, and Tilton.
