From “The Next Normal” to Back to Normal: How Your Business Can Adapt

As individuals and organizations around the world begin to consider the next phase of their business operations plans, Comcast Business understands how important it is to stay connected every step of the way. Here are four quick tips for businesses that are readjusting to “the next normal”:

  • Reassess your network. With consistently shifting business strategies and workforce locations, you can check your network’s health by setting web filters to enforce an internet access policy for devices connected to your network. You also can receive emailed network activity reports. To get started, manage your Comcast Business SecurityEdge settings. Plus, remotely manage your Comcast Business services and features anywhere and anytime by signing up for alerts with the Comcast Business App and My Account.
  • Keep your customers informed. They’ll want to know when they might visit your office, store or location again. So, be sure to update your business’ splash page online using WiFi Pro. You also can update your business’ Automated Attendant greeting using your Comcast Business VoiceEdgeor VoiceEdge Select service – or simply update your voicemail greetings if your line doesn’t have Automated Attendant.
  • Maintain your professional presence. As you’re transitioning back to the office, you can stay available for your customers’ inquiries by using call tools like Comcast Business VoiceEdge, which allow you to make or take calls on mobile devices while still displaying your business’ caller ID. You also can check on your brick and mortar business locations with Comcast Business SmartOffice, even if you can’t be onsite.
  • Consult with Comcast Business as your operational needs shift. Returning to “normal” isn’t happening at the same time, and your business still may feel the effects of the crisis even after social distancing measures are reduced. Our network operation centers are staffed 24/7 with engineers and technicians to ensure network performance and reliability. We will continue to work with you to identify the best service options.

Our top priority is to continue to protect the health of our customers and employees in the areas we serve while providing the best service possible. For more details on our ongoing response to COVID-19, visit https://business.comcast.com/response.
